I don't remember telling you this Pete.

And you as well missed the whole point of the discussion, which was:

Someone on the LUG expounded that it is IMPOSSIBLE for DOF preview to be
useful. Which, of course, is completely and totally wrong. Therefore I
defended the fact that DOF preview is extremely useful and has served
photographers well since the invention of combining a ground glass and lens
in a camera.

That is all.

A clueless dilettante? Where'd you get that???
