When I am shooting pictures that people are depending on, I do my
experimentation well beforehand. Make sure you try the film before you
photograph something important. My father agreed to do a friends wedding
with his then new Asahiflex IIa. The camera store chappies recommended some
new fancy high speed film so he would not need to use flash. He did not try
it out first and the only photo that turned out was one of my mother
sultrily smoking a cigarette! The newly married couple failed to see any
humour in the ironic outcome.
