With Xtol and Tmax, I found that the higher dilutions do give sharper
results with no increase in grain (As Mark R says), and better highlight
control. I think Tmax films are so sensitive to agitation, agitating
less, which is better (as Johnny says), means longer times.

I use 100 ml stock per 300 ml water per roll, and use an eight reel tank
with one empty reel in between each full one. Also a Kostiner eight reel
washer for a water bath to keep the temperature constant.
