eBay is one of the only vestiges of Absolute Capitalism on the 
planet....Caveat Emptor.
eBay is not in any way responsible for any claims made by sellers and they 
go through great pains to explain just that during the registration procedure.
Can be a good place to buy, but almost always a good place to sell. The 
Value of anything is exactly what the highest bidder is willing to spend. 
The whole concept would not continue to work if the vast majority of users 
weren't elated with their transactions.

By and large people don't look to heave over others in any given 
transaction. Most folks seem to follow the Law of Return by nature (aka 
"reap as you sew" for you Christians.)
