For a change of scenery go to Red Rock Canyon, 10 miles from the strip. There is a 13 mile scenic drive through beautiful mountain/desert landscape. Get out of the car and hike around. Best time is early morning and late afternoon for low angle light. Bring color film. I'll be in LV myself for 10 days late in December. Robert
