I have found that I can use the bottom half of the ERC when taking pictures
and when I am just carrying my Leica a Zing neoprene case pulled over the
camera with the bottom of the ERC gives me protection no matter what lens I
have mounted. The Zing is easily moved for a picture and stored in the
satchel, in a pocket or under the belt, all out of the way.

The neoprene is thick enough that its qualities will resist conveying
external shock to the camera inside. Yet is not bulky.
