They are certainly simple enough. Not much to go wrong. If you don't filter the incoming hot and cold water for sediment, down to at least 10 microns cold, 5 microns hot (Hass' requirement), then who know's what might happen. Perhaps the valves will become sticky. Or the temp probe will become crusty and not respond fast enough thus causing very slow or no response. I truly expect this unit to run properly for a very very long time. Jim
