No. It's actually not twisted at all, other than it is largely about
people who are, at their core, evil - amoral? While some argue that it
glorifies crime and The Mob, I think it does quite the opposite. Every
time you begin to think Tony Soprano is really a nice cuddly family guy
at heart, he let's you know with a look or an action that is really a
frightening creature - and the credit for that goes to the real
brilliance of previously largely unknown actor James Gandolfini, without
whom I doubt there would be a series.

No, no David Lynch. Much closer to Martin Scorsesi (sp?) in the burbs of
Jersey....

If you have HBO, definitely watch it...I think tonight they do a rerun
of last week's two back-to-back episodes, and then tomorrow night you
get this week's new hour-long episode.
