My first reaction was, "Damn why didn't he wait for two more steps and catch the guy framed in the doorway?" Then I noticed the "walk sign" on the post inconjunction with the person walking.... the step of the walker is in sync with the sign and couldn't have been timed better. Of course you timed it and shot it exactly as how I explained it? Right.;-) Sure we all know you did .;-) B&W alternate...... Missed on this one, as it once again appears you were motivated by something, then made a grab shot that doesn't appear to have captured any central point of interest. I'm of the assumption it's the action lady looking over her shoulder, but it still doesn't go anywhere. I went back and looked several times to see if I had missed something, nada. But what I did discover was....... you didn't hold your camera straight! Look at the scene carefully and here's what you did that some folks do unconsciously when holding an M camera... You tilted the upper right upper corner of the camera away from you even though the horizontal line was correct. How do I know this? Well I sometimes do exactly the same thing myself and I've seen in pictures of others. It usually shows up when a building is in the scene, the verticals look straight, the horizontals look OK, but that tiny tilt seems to show up when you're screening slides or making a B&W print. It seems more obvious when using a 35 or wider lenses. But this is a nickel and dime remark, as the most important thing is as I said, there doesn't appear to be any centre of interest, even the lady looking over her left shoulder doesn't do anything.
