I believe Sony have been using Leitz lenses on their Mini DV digital handy
cams for a couple of years now.

I thought I would throw in a titbit of information from my dealer today. He 
pointed out that the new top level Panasonic video camera is fitted with a 
Leica lens. He then added that he had seen photographs of the new Leica 
digital camera and it was definitely not a Fuji. Could it be that Leica has 
done a deal with Panasonic?
