I didn't replace my Nikons with Leicas; I simply _added_ the Leica gear. Each
has its place, and I spend time regularly shooting with both. Yesterday was a
Leica day, for example.

As for using a picture of the Nikon on my site, an SLR looks more like a
"typical camera" than a rangefinder, to most people.

Alas! Nobody is sponsoring my site currently.

There is one in my downloadable summary guide to photography, in the Free
Documents section. Additionally, the last image in my Art Gallery (such as it
is) is a technical illustration of an M6 TTL, to scale, with the Summicron-M
1:2/35 ASPH mounted.

Most people have no idea what a Leica is, so I use the Nikon as a "generic
camera" for illustration purposes.

It's just a matter of recognition value. SLRs look more like "fancy" cameras
are supposed to look.
