Subject: [Leica] leica P&S (was: crayons vs. markers)

as a more general discussion of leica apart from M and R:

may i ask if anyone M user on the group has
strong feelings either way about the leica point-and-shoots?

i'll start: in my mind, i don't really see the leica P&S's as "leicas", but
rather as conventional P&S's with leica-designed optics. for P&S, i like
contax (T & T2)--so much so, i am mentally locked-in.

note that the above statement qualifies 100% as "prejudice" since i have
never handled any leica P&S--however such customer predispositions
are realities in the marketing world.
