Shouldn't you just buy the focal length that suits your work best, instead of
worrying about which one performs best on the test bench?

My first lens was the 1:2/35 ASPH, and it's great. It is still the lens that I
use most of the time. I may eventually get the 28, but it's beyond my budget
right now, and in any case, I expect that the 35 will continue to be my main
lens. It is a matter of personal preference, not MTF charts.
