I clean my own toilet. 
It is no big deal. I don't even use rubber gloves any more. 
The trick is to flush it once before you clean it.
It's not much more gross than cleaning a sink or bathtub. As a matter of fact
I'd clean a toilet over a bathtub any day.

But I'm talking my own. Not the ones in Central Park in NYC.
