Batch scanning sure makes things easier. I just saw a scanner that will do 
exactly what you describe. It's a big Fuji flatbed. I forget the model 
number. Something like a 2720. The guy who owns it scans 100 slides at a 
time. He sold his Imacon to buy it.  He says it does a better job.  Big 
money, though.
