Don't worry about lab results. Worry about how your pictures look instead of how a lens performs. Unless you're shooting newspaper taped to a wall, are you really going to see much difference between the 3E at 50mm & f/4 vs. the 50 'cron at f/4? Or even the 50 'lux at f/4?
