Still going on this:

One of the interesting and quite unusual things about Xtol which makes
it convenient is you can mix it up at room temperature.
And you really don't want to mix it up too hot. The Vitamin C does not
fight for you.

Almost every time i mix up a new batch of Xtol i use some immediately.
Not all the flakes and crystals may be completely dissolved i don't
obsess on that.
It's never been a problem with any developer I've used.
You'd think some flakes would stick to the film and screw it up but they
just don't. Really.

Obviously you are agitating once a minute or every 30 seconds and the
first minute.
Usually the next day you look into the bottles and the flakes are gone.
