I've had 4 or 5 Tele-Elmarits, and everyone of them flared horribly. I
was shooting a lot of contre-jour of speakers at podiums, outside with
lots of sky around their heads. I finally gave up on them. 
A recent 90 f4 Elmar I sold recently, did exceptionally well. I used it,
though sparingly, on construction sites, race track and the ocean. It
was as good as any TE I had used in the past. Too back it was missing an
extra stop.
