I 've not compared directly, but in use I never found the AF of the GR1s to be
particulary slow or in need of correction. There is a definite/noticeable
firing
delay compared to a Leica M, on the other hand the AF+AE are faster than a
manual system that has not been set up in advance. Lag reduces slightly in
the infinity and "snap" preset modes. Great camera, only wish it was quieter.
