I also just loved a book about Henry Miller written by Brassaï!
Photographers are not supposed to be able to write. But they just do anyway.

But really my favorite writers are Nabokov and Updike.
Becket, Pinter and Stoppard, ... Mamet.
And Salinger.
Heller and Vonnegut.

Guilty pleasures are
John LeCarré (love Smiley) and John Irving (sorry! ouch!)

And lets not forget Elmore Leonard!!!!!

And Edgar Rice Burroughs and Don Martin
Just about any book which fits in my back pocket is ok with me!
