Subject: [Leica] important virus warning

The latest deeply malicious computer virus is circulating under the cover
of being from Microsoft and that it is an important security update that
you have to install in order to protect yourself from viruses. People are
falling for it in unprecedented numbers, somehow forgetting that you are
supposed to go get the anti-virus software, rather than it coming to you.

It is not possible for viruses to be sent via the LUG; our software removes
them all. But if any of you fall for this virus, everyone who has sent mail
to the LUG recently will get a copy of the virus, which is annoying.

Always be careful. Never doubleclick on anything until you are certain of
what it is. Never answer the door if the voice on the outside is saying
"candygram".
