It has 2400 dpi resolution and sufficient dynamic range at least for B&W negatives. The price is in the $500 range over here. From a price/performance standpoint this has to be the best solution for scanning MF right now. It may not equal the Nikon 8000 but then again, it is 1/10 the price.
