Subject: [Leica] Using a Minolta M-Rokkor 28 MM

I am being offered a Minolta M-Rokkor 28 MM F 2.8.

I'd really like to get a Lieca but don't want to
spend $1200+.

1. Will it work?
2. Will it suck, compared to a Leica lens?
3. Is this a good idea?

Thanks
