Subject: [Leica] Doc Clompus and His M7

I had the great pleasure last Friday of having lunch with noted LUG'er Dr
Richard Clompus. We did a show-'n-tell program; Richard brought his M7
and I brought my 2/90 APO-Asph, and we compared and drooled.

The M7 is really smaller than I had expected. Richard had the motor drive
mounted, and I was impressed with the portability and ease of operation of
the M7. It is intuitive, quiet, and not-the-huge-package-I-had-expected.

I was impressed, though I probably won't be buying one myself anytime soon
- -- I'm still trying to figure my M6 out!
