Hello all,

I have been looking at the rapidwinder for a while but as I'm a
right-eyed M user I don't seem to have a screaming reason for it. I just
like that it seems like one could wind on a little faster, and the
winding action isn't in your face. Getting it with the metal grip seems
like a nice set up.

But when talking to a camera sales person recently I was told that it is
rather noisy with it's ratchet mechanism. Is this true or was he just
trying to sell me a M winder?

I wish I could rent one just to try it out for myself. Opinions are nice
but no substitute for actually using the thing for a weekend.

Thanks in advance,
Gunnar
