What they are paying for is the photographers STYLE.  And if not then any
ole guy with a camera that can pose people should do just fine.

And photography is one SERVICE where the style and ability of the
photographer is what's sold. I wouldn't want a photojournalist to shoot a
wedding if I wanted posed shots no more than I'd have a "formal" wedding
specialist who sets up everything to shoot a loose candid wedding.

If I ever get married :O and look for a photographer I hope to hell they'd
say, "This is the way I shoot" and let me say yea or nay. Not Oh yeah, I can
do "whatever" you want mister...
