Presentation is always a tough call. What size? What level of quality? To
use or not to use thumbnails? Is so, how?

It's different if you're submitting for a (somewhat) captive audience of
photographers, vs web surfers. Or is it?

I find myself being impatient. I really have to want to see a file if
its >100K.

I once had a T1. Now I have a 28.8 dialup (nothing faster available at my
location). It's changed my perspective considerably.

So many variables. I wish there was a rule of thumb. Maybe there is and I
just don't know it.
