+1.5 is the optical correction that the lens provides.  Bear in mind that
the standard Leica eyepiece is already at -0.5.  I use a -1.0 correction
lens which gives me a total of -1.5.  My prescription from the optician was
for -1.25 in my left eye, which I use when viewing on the M6.
