and thanks to you too!  i was very happy to attach faces to names.
very regretfully i had to immediately jump in the car to meet my
family in long beach island where they had gone ahead on our vacation!
else i surely would have mingled a bit more.  when i get back and if
my xtol hasnt gone bad, i'll put up some of my neopan 1600 noctilux
pix.

i enjoyed all the talks.  brian's as expected was visionary and
jim's (who honored me by signing my copy of his magnum opus) was
informative and entertaining.  to me, the big surprise was kyle.
i'd always liked his work but suspected him of being a talented
but affected long-haired hippie.  now i know he's a witty, sincere
and articulate long-haired hippie!  it was a real pleasure to hear
all of these gentlemen, meet some of our leica representatives, and
to shake hands with many of my lug friends.
