It is quite rave-oriented, but during the day all the gnomes of Zurich let their hair down and come out dressed in all kinds of ways. For many local transvestites, this is the one opportunity to flaunt their habit and be applauded for it. Last year, the weather was gorgeous and about 1 million people turned out, allowing me to take shots like this: http://www.wajsman.com/33.jpg. This year, in contrast, the weather was awful, it rained for two days straight, including the day of the event, and so I decided to shoot B&W to make the best of it.
