Many times posting the serial number will clue an informed buyer which
version of a lens is being offered.  Early versus late 50 Summilux, which of
at least five 35 Summicrons offered etc.  One personal example is that many
years ago I let a 50 Summicron serial number 92x,xxx go for about $300 not
knowing is was a really early production "yellow glass" version.  I hope the
Japanese buyer is using it as it was a quite decent performer

We aren't really that weird, its just with Leica really little details
matter.
