I gave up all my AE and more Nikons for Manual exposure Leica M6's about
10 years ago, one with the TTL flash sensor.
I'm taking better pictures. And enjoying it more. Sleeping better. I'm
leaving the house more often.
My twin lens Rolleiflex is also manual exposure. You have to adjust it's
marvelous twin wheels your self.
My Hasselblads don't have a meter, I use a Gossan hand held meter which
i find makes for lighting fast shooting and no problems.
It almost never slows me down and almost always speeds up my shooting.

If a new MP is coming out I'm more keyed into IT than I am to the M7. I
just use the same Gossan hand held meter i use for my Hasselblads.

Frankly i take a reading and i shoot a group of shots around something
and i don't want the readings to be changing all the time. I want them
to stay the same. Makes for a coherent set of negs to print or slides even.
Take a reading and get it over with I say!

Oh and i have a 4x5 Cambo View Camera which of course does not have a
meter in it which i use my Gossan hand held meter.
