Jerry,

So only the Model D (II), the first Leica with built in rangefinder, had no RF
magnification?

Probably not too many using that one today. It seems the interest is in the
IIIc/IIIf/IIIg with some interested in the IIIa

The viewfinder is another issue of course and I think only the IIIg has a worthy
finder. The others all need brighline finders on the acc shoe. (IMO of course, YMMV
;-)
