I guess that's my cue. I acquired the lens in anticipation of a major
trip that, alas, has yet to materialize. Despite the absence of that
opportunity, the lens hasn't been idle. I've used it for architecture.
I've used it for a group portrait of about 40 police officers where the
perspective control was a bonus in eliminating the foreground. And I
use it as a sort-of normal lens on the Canon 10D where its focal length
is approximately 46 mm.

It's a damn good piece of glass. I haven't been disappointed with the
results when I've done my part. On the other hand, it is big and,
because of its size, its inclusion in the bag for a shoot requires some
deliberation.

I suppose that when time permits I ought to do a side-by-side comparison
with the much maligned 35 PA Curtagon which I also have and which can,
when handled properly, produce a good image.
