Here is another way of the reality of 135 lenses on your M series
camera....in order of image quality

135/3.4 APO Telyt.  Best, but $1100++ used  ( 1999+)
135/4 TeleElmar.... $600++  used ( 1960's to 1990's)
135/2.8 Elmarit with eyes... $400 tops used. Heaviest lens due to the eyes
and the design.  ( 1960's to 1980's)
135/4 Elmar....older and may need a cleaning... $150-250 or thereabouts  (
1960's)
135/4.5 Hektor.. probably needs a cleaning.... $100-150  (1960's)

Cleaning prices start at around $75 and rather often and quickly go to
$100++

If you want the best optics and can afford the cost, 135 APO Telyt is the
place to be
If you want the best optics at the lowest price, and do not mind the
additional weight, the 135/2.8 is the choice now.
If you want the lowest cost, 135 Hektor. Expect to clean it or buy one
cleaned.

But everything is a compromise.
