To add to this, if you're shooting silver-based B&W negatives, you can't use
any of the IR channel technology, anyway.  If you're processing your own
film, you can probably do so without worrying about dust and scratch
removal.  It's easier to create good negatives than it is to use technology
to get decent scans from bad ones.  :)
