Subject: [Leica] PAW: Jody's 20th [non-Leica]

Recently a friend organized a surprise (to his wife)
wedding anniversary party, and of course, I took some
photos. The conditions were awful: light level
was very low, forcing me to use ISO 1600, and I
was shooting mostly from my seat at the
table. At that light level, the images are bound
to be very soft, but I tried to make that work
for me, and go for a soft, painterly look.
Here's are a couple of shots for your consideration.

Here's the main:

Here's the alternate

All shots taken with a Canon DSLR, 50mm lens, at f1.4,
1/15 sec, ISO 1600.

Comments greatly appreciated as always.
Thanks in advance,
