Just checked...the newly "renovated" hotel is now the Ashland Springs. It
was formerly the Marc Antony. Walking around the college campus is nice,
there is also a very old cemetery. If you travel around some of the back
roads you will find  wonderful old barns and farmhouses. My daughter and I
usually stay at the Super 8 ( exit 14 off of 5. ) and we have camped along
the Rogue River a couple of times.  Being a divorced father spending a
quality week alone with my daughter was always the highlight of my summer.
Regarding parking...we usually park on the street leading into town, near
the post office. Never had a problem.
