Ah Gilroy!  The "Garlic Capitol of the World".

Jerry...Yes! that is the place. Garlic ice cream, mushrooms, corn, scampi,
calamari, and garlic wine (!) The natives get a chuckle when a visitor sips
the garlic wine and gasps "that's awful!"  It is meant to be a cooking wine.
This past year was the 25th anniversary, I've missed only 2.  When I lived
in Chicago it was the Bix Beiderbecke Festival in Davenport, Ia. every year.
Great traditional jazz..
