Because that works out to 52 weddings per year, for $100K - and that works out to less than $2K to shoot a wedding, deal with the clients, AND provide the albums, prints, processing. By the time someone covered their expenses, they might as well be working at McDonalds. And of course most aren't the same quality as ol' Annie - whatever THAT means. But I guarantee you she isn't doing a shoot for $1900 bucks. ;-) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Eric Sent: Tuesday, November 11, 2003 6:09 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: [Leica] wedding photographers are overpaid http://cbs.marketwatch.com/news/story.asp?guid=%7B954AA053-F953-43F3-BBC 8-63D351A3BF2A%7D&siteid=google&dist=google Hey, if it weren't true, they wouldn't print it, now would they? The "journalist" says a wedding photographer can make $100k working just 2 jobs each weekend for 6 months of work, and they're not even of the same quality as Annie Leibovitz. :) Eric - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
