All have the capability to properly break down, clean, and re-assemble the DR. John did that on my latest DR that was badly fogged as well as removed the "cleaning" marks on the front element. Now it is an amazing lens again. As an aside, if time isn't an issue, then buy the bad examples of a lens cheap enough that you can do a CLA. Typically, you will have a better lens at a better price.
