Tina,

Over the years I've used several CFS systems on Epson printers. It certainly
lowers ink costs. But in every case the devices were finicky. Many times I
felt that I should have bought a pro level printer with more ink capacity.
When you add up the cost of the CFS, the time and effort to get things set
up, and the long term hassles of dealing with modified systems, it may be
cheaper in the long run to buy a better (I.e. higher ink capacity) printer
up front. Nothing makes printing seem like hard work more than a printing
system that's....well, hard work! If I want frustration and effort, I'll
work in my darkroom :-)

The nice thing about good printers is they don't become outdated as quickly
as digital cameras.
