After receiving much advice and encouragement from folks here, as well as a
little nudge by Graham, I went back to the original scan of this week's PAW
and found a little bit of shadow detail in the second dancer's head.
The new version is at: http://www.duke.edu/~ajs2/PAW/2004_11/index.html
And a comparison between the old and new is at:
http://www.duke.edu/~ajs2/PAW/2004_11/compare.html (new on the left; old on
the right).
I definitely like the new one better, and I definitely have a lot more to
learn about this part of the process. I'll try to get more out of the
image once I get my scanner...seems like a good neg to practice on.
Thanks to all who made suggestions,
Aaron
