Subject: [Leica] URGENT: ADVICE NEEDED & UK Repairs

Guys,

Last night I had a roll of T400CN back only to find that I must have had a
shutter which hasn't been opening properly. The camera is a IIIf which *has*
been working fine and as far as I am aware hasn't been mis-treated. Could it be
the wind mechanism (which again seems OK)?

So:

(i) any hints to free it up - it doesn't look like it is failing to open at
present but it ruined about 10 shots on the film above.

(ii) Anybody in th UK know a good repair man in SE who could turn it round by
Thursday, because I am off to Florence on Friday am.

Alternatives are Minoltas or Digilux....
