His comment that the close-up performance of the
current 50/2 M is still superior to the new Summilux
(despite its floating element, for close-range
correction) struck me in particular.

As in the world of wine, one review is pretty thin
ground to base a major purchase on. I'll be watching
for other user reports elsewhere and here on the LUG
as they become available.
