Let me say this about that.

Being a small company, Leica has had a hard time being
all things to all people.

It is therefore highly revealing to note that the
company has very recently dramatically reduced
resources allocated to some aspects of the company
business, while increasing allocations to R&D. The
intention is to WOW us relatively soon with the kinds
of products a lot of us here have been begging for and
dreaming of.
