I must admit that I chose this image to post more for the personal feeling it evoked rather than any timeless nature I thought it had. Your comment about the PAW concept is noted. The PAW process is by its nature rather arbitrary, although many on the LUG have achieved a thematic consistency, which is a tribute to their artistry. I'm reminded of Dechamp's famous statement about the expressed but unintended vs the intended but unexpressed. At times as aspiring image makers we see more in our images -- because we were there -- than is acutally in the bare presentation. However, sometimes the "curious" image is one that evokes a response. I find it very interesting that images that I think are great (and I'm by no means claiming my current posting as one) get little if any response, but other images that I thought would be mundane, boring or run of the mill get the accolades.
