Subject: [Leica] leica collection inherited, for sale??

Thor,
When you decide on a fair price for the Nikor 8.5 centimeter I assume in
LTM with a LTM-M adapter why don't you offer it for sale on Friday. I
assume there will be other interested parties in that lens and any
shades etc. In fact, why don't you offer all of it next Friday once you
are comfortable with what the true value is. :)

Whatever the group is unwilling to purchase in that nebulous zone of not
quite retail but certainly not wholesale then I am sure you can
wholesale to dealers, ebay, or what have you. KEH would be a last
resort as King and his consorts while eminently wonderful on the sales
side are just a little too frugal on the purchasing side unless you need
quick no hassle money.

hi Kit
thanks again for your response.
I've decided to hang on the the CL, and to try to learn its use.

The M6 is "minty", no marks or scratches, and has mounted a Summicron
50mm,
#3263162. I find no serial # on the camera body, except on the hotshoe
(?)
mount. In the bag with the M6 is an Elmar 90mm, #2643967, and an
Elmarit
28mm(?) # 3276781. Also in the bag is a Sekonik Studio Deluxe light
meter,
and a Vivitar 2800 flash.

The M4 is # 1192835, and has mounted to the "hotshoe" a Leica MR light
meter. It has mounted a Summicron 50mm, # 2031026. It has no dings or
scratches, no brassing, has been used and shows handling.
In the bag with this camera is a Nikor-P 8.5cm lense, #396762.

The older Leica has # 772840, and has mounted a 50mm lense, that pulls
out
from the body. This camera shows no brassing, no dings or scratches.

Any information you can impart on these cameras is much appreciated.

regards,

Thor Taggart
