Yes, the paint job looks like it has been touched up. You can even see 
some
paint spill on the slow shutter speed dial in pic #1.

I've seen heavily worn black cameras, where the serial numbers were
nearly obscured. Uncovered brass is fairly soft and will wear quickly.
The chome/Nickel coating of the silver ones adds a lot of protection.

The shutter release collar is missing.
