Not only are they food, you can eat them all afternoon. They don't seem
to fill me up. They aren't fried, so they are healthier than fried
shrimp. You get valuable minerals from all the mud in their alimentary
canal, and you are required to drink tons of beer to cool you off. If
there was ever a food meant to be eaten while sitting only in your
underwear, it is crawfish. Unfortunately, the people who love them the
most usually don't look all that great in their underwear.

Jeffery,

I grew up in northern Mississippi and they were crawdads there and
definitely used for bait. In southern Mississippi, folks join their
Louisiana bretheren and consider them food.

Not for me!
